Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2025
1. Agreement
These Terms govern access to and use of the StudentIgnite platform ("Service"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable addendums.
2. Definitions
- Provider – The organisation subscribing to the Service.
- Student – A prospective student lead processed by the platform.
- Subscription – The monthly recurring plan under Stripe billing.
- AI Conversation – Automated engagement messages handled by StudentIgnite's AI module.
3. Access and Usage
a. Eligibility
Providers must be registered training organisations (RTOs) or other education entities which are legally able to procure and manage student leads.
b. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is required for all users.
c. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Use the Service to send unsolicited or unlawful communications
- Attempt to access or misuse other Providers' data
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the platform
4. Payments and Billing
Payments are handled via Stripe in Australian Dollars (AUD). All plans renew automatically on a monthly basis. Cancellation requires 30 days' written notice after an initial minimum 3-month commitment period.
a. Plan Allowances and Add-On Leads
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of leads (unique contacts processed through Student Ignite). Lead allowances reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over to the following month. Any unused allowance expires at the end of the billing period.
If your usage exceeds your plan's monthly lead allowance, additional leads will be charged as add-ons at your current plan rate. Add-on charges are billed monthly in arrears and will appear on your next invoice.
b. Mid-Month Plan Upgrades
If you upgrade your plan mid-month:
- You will be charged for any add-on leads (those outside your previous plan allowance) at your old plan rate up to the date of the upgrade.
- Your new plan will commence immediately upon upgrade.
- No pro-rata credit or refund will be provided for the remainder of the current billing period under your old plan.
- Your new plan allowance applies from the upgrade date through to your next renewal.
c. Overage and Usage Limits
Overage fees apply if aggregate conversations, SMS usage, or other metered services exceed your plan limits. These fees are calculated based on your active plan at the time usage occurred.
d. Refunds
Refunds are not provided for partial months, unused plan credits, or mid-cycle plan changes. In exceptional circumstances, pro-rata credits may be issued at the sole discretion of Course Finder Group.
5. Data and Confidentiality
- Providers retain ownership of their data.
- StudentIgnite only processes Provider and Student information to deliver the Service.
- Course Finder Group staff cannot access lead-level data except for support or maintenance or with explicit prior permission in writing from the Provider.
6. Integrations and Third-Party Services
The Service connects with third-party systems such as CRMs, calendars, and messaging providers. You authorise StudentIgnite to exchange data with these systems as necessary in order to enable the functionality of the Service.
You remain responsible for compliance with the terms applicable to these third-party systems.
7. Availability and Support
We aim for 99.9% uptime excluding planned maintenance.
Support is available via email and live chat Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm AEST.
Assisted onboarding and periodic success reviews are included in applicable plans.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- Payment fails repeatedly;
- You breach these Terms; or
- Platform misuse poses a risk to other users or systems.
You may export your data prior to termination.
9. Liability and Warranties
StudentIgnite is provided "as is."
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of revenue or data.
Our total liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the preceding 3 months of our contract.
10. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time and will notify account owners in writing at least 14 days before changes take effect.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
