Can I see the conversations in real-time?

Is Herbot compliant with Australian privacy law?

Yes. Herbot is built with Australian compliance requirements at its core. Every conversation respects opt-out requests immediately and permanently. Herbot never discusses funding specifics, never provides course advice that should come from a qualified advisor, and never stores or shares student data outside your platform. Real-time conversation logs are always available in your dashboard for auditing and compliance reporting. If your organisation has specific privacy obligations — for example, under the Privacy Act 1988 or your RTO’s standards — our team reviews your setup during onboarding to make sure everything is configured appropriately.

How long does setup actually take?

Most providers are live within 15 minutes. Here’s how it works: you connect your CRM (we support HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, Brevo and Pipedrive), add your course information, and choose Herbot’s conversation tone. We run integration tests automatically to confirm everything is connected correctly. If you’re using your own SMS provider — Sinch MessageMedia, Twilio or ClickSend — you’ll just need your API key handy. Our onboarding team is with you through the process, and most clients send their first live Herbot message the same day they sign up.
